Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Your guide for the tour will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe city.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
After your early breakfast, you will embark on your memorable adventure! Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most conic parks, with breathtaking landscapes, have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an encounter the first of the Big5 animals. You will have the opportunity to observe the mighty white Rhinos. The sanctuary is home to Uganda’s Rhino reintroduction project. Later proceed to Murchison reaching in time for a relaxed evening.
Overnight at: Pakuba Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
Set off early in the morning for a sunrise game drive to explore more of Murchison and its wildlife, return to your lodge for a late breakfast and a bit of relaxation before the afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, to come face to face with the world’s most powerful fall upstream. At the base of the falls, you will have spectacular views and picture opportunities. En route, you will see hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birds.

Visit the “top of the falls” for your chance to view the magnificence of the Nile for an opportunity to witness the famous River Nile squeeze itself through an impossibly narrow 7 m gap in a rock creating a powerful explosion of white water. The Falls are believed to be the most powerful natural flow of water anywhere on earth. Later transfer to Kibale forest home to 13 primate species with the highlight being the chimpanzees which will be seen during chimpanzee tracking.
Overnight at: Kibale Forest Camp (Bed & Breakfast)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the briefing point from where you will start your trek in to the forest to track the infamous chimpanzees. You will search for them alongside rangers, and trackers to spend one whole hour observing them swing, play and misbehave, be marveled at their existence and conduct. The forest is also home to other primates including Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Phoestes, Red-Colobus, and the Blue-tailed and the Red-tailed monkeys that you might sight as well during your forest walks.
Overnight at: Kibale Forest Camp (Bed & Breakfast)
After a relaxed breakfast, visit the craters and later proceed to Fort portal for a relaxed afternoon, you can visit a local market later in the evening.
Overnight at: Mountains of the moon Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Semuliki, reaching in time for a trek to Sempaya Hot Springs, Watching out for monkeys and birds. The spring ejects boiling water about 2 meters into the air and the hotness of the water has been experimented on by boiling an egg or a banana that will be ready to eat in only 10 minutes. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon, reaching in time for a relaxed evening at your lodge.
Overnight at: Bush Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
You will wake up early for a morning game drive in the park during which you will see Lions, Elephants, Topi, Leopards, Bushbucks, Cape Buffaloes, Defassa Waterbucks, Giant Forest Hogs, Uganda Kobs, among others. In the afternoon go for a two-hour boat cruise down the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. The cruise takes you through concentrations of Hippos and you will see a profusion of animals drinking on the water shores. This launch cruise rewards you with a great opportunity to take photos, watch birds and see the water animals.
Overnight at: Bush Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, through Ishasha, Famous for the tree climbing lions. You will arrive in the late afternoon and retire to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: Haven Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
After an early breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters to be briefed for mountain gorilla tracking, although unpredictable how long the tracking will last, once you find them, you will definitely be thrilled through the one hour you will spend observing these gentle giants moving and socializing. Return to your lodge for a rest and if time allows, later go for a cultural walk to interact with the local people or visit a batwa group for a cultural immersion among this group whose ancestors once shared a home with the mountain gorillas.
Overnight at: Haven Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
You will, after breakfast drive to Lake Bunyonyi, believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa and one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzia free. The journey takes 6-7 hours and you will have your lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight will be at one of the many lodges near the lake.
Overnight at: Birdnest (Bed & Breakfast)
Start your day with a relaxed breakfast, after which you will choose a canoe ride, paddling a dugout canoe or a community walk through the surrounding hills. Bunyonyi means “place of little birds” expect to see a number of them, it I also one of the safest lakes in the country to swim due to being crocodile, hippo and bilharzia free. You can also choose a boat ride to tour some of the lakes 29 Islands.
Overnight at: Birdnest (Bed & Breakfast)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, centered in a series of swamps and fringed lakes rich in bird life and other animals like Zebras, Warthog, Elands, giraffes and Impala among others. Enroute, you will visit the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and to learn about the unique history and culture of the Ankole people who are pride in keeping cattle. You will be treated to some Best of Uganda Wildlife Safari traditional dances at this center after which you will be driven to the lodge of your booking for Dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
After breakfast you will set off for Entebbe, with a stopover at the Equator, proceed to reaching your destination for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
You can decide to visit the Mabamba swamp for an encounter with a shoe bill stock after breakfast and depending on your flight time or simply relax and do some souvenir shopping in Entebbe before being dropped off at the airport in time for your scheduled flight back home to consequently end of the tour.
