Itinerary
Upon Arrival, your Guide will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Kigali for an overnight.
Overnight at: Chez Lando (Bed & Breakfast)
Wake up for breakfast before transferring to Akagera national park, you will have a city tour, where you can visit the genocide museum, local market and art centres, reaching in time for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
Overnight at: Akagera Game Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
Early morning, you will go for a game drive in the northern part of the park to catch up with early risers before they go into hiding. You might see lions, antelopes, giraffes, bush bucks among others. After lunch, you can choose to go back for afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema, or have an evening game drive to see more wildlife.

After a relaxed breakfast, be transferred to Nyungwe, reaching in time for a relaxed evening.

After your breakfast, go for briefing before embarking on the magical chimpanzee trekking experience in the forest. In the afternoon, you can go for the adventurous canopy walk from one end of the forest to another viewing bird, and other species of primates or relax at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will leave Nyungwe Forest and drive to Volcanoes National Park arriving in the late afternoon for a relaxed evening at your lodge.

Wake up to an early breakfast at the lodge before going gorilla tracking, one of the best African Safari experiences. This experience immerses you in strange intimacy of the rainforest, mountain gorilla and nature chatters and calls, a once in a life time experience indeed!
Overnight at: Lebambou Gorilla Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
After an early breakfast, you will go back to the forest, this time searching for the active Golden monkeys. Once you locate them, you are only allowed to stay with them for 1 hour after which you start the trek back, for a relaxed afternoon at your lodge.

Transfer towards Lake Kivu with a stopover at the gorilla guardian village for a Rwandan cultural experience. Try using a local bow and arrow. Proceed to the lake, take a stroll along the shores before dinner and overnight.

It is a relaxation day today, therefore wake up to a relaxed breakfast, and spend the day at your lodge or explore the beautiful Lake Kivu on a boat, you can also visit a hot springs, take a boat trip to an island and go kayaking. You will have plenty options to occupy your day.

Today is your last day in Rwanda, after breakfast, transfer back to Kigali.

Today is your last day in Rwanda, after breakfast, transfer back to Kigali where you can go souvenir shopping before being dropped off at the airport in time for your scheduled flight back home.
