Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Your guide for the tour will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe city.
Overnight at: Via Via Guest House (Bed & Breakfast)
After an early breakfast, you can choose between relaxing at your accommodation or driving to the capital city of Uganda – Kampala, where you will have a city tour in the heart of the Buganda kingdom, one of the oldest and most influential kingdoms in the country, you will visit the Kasubi Tombs a great World Cultural Heritage site, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine where the 22 martyrs were killed between 1885, the Uganda museum, the king of Buganda’s Palace in Mengo and a visit to Kabaka’s Lake is amazing. If time allows, visit the some local markets like Owino and Nakasero. Return to Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal also known as the Tourism City, you can visit the Palace, and home to the King of Toro Kingdom and the world’s youngest king or a local market if time allows, before transferring to kibale through a verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms.

After an early breakfast, you will be escorted to the briefing point by your guide for an adventure of a lifetime! Chimpanzees are among the most intelligent wild animals therefore prepare to be wowed by these great apes as you watch them feed and socialize in their natural habitat. After lunch you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk through the swamp.

Visit the Kasenda crater lakes, known for the highest concentration of crater lakes per square km, to marvel at lakes like Rukwanzi, Mwamba, Kifuruka, Nyairya and the famous Nyinambuga crater, that appears on the twenty thousand Uganda shillings note. You can also visit Nkuruba nature reserve before transferring back to Fort portal where you will have time to visit the Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru Caves in the afternoon for an amazing Cultural, geographical and historical encounter.

After breakfast, you will have one of the most picturesque drives through the Ugandan hilly country sides to reach Semuliki national park, home to one of Uganda’s most impressive hot springs and geysers. You will also have time to visit the batwa people of tis are at the Boma village near the national park headquarters, you can further visit the Ntoroko fishing villages before returning to Fort Portal fir dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park was established in 1954. Upon arrival, you can opt for an evening game where you might spot animals like elephants, Bufalloes, Impalas, Uganda Kobs, lions and various bird species.

Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzori as a backdrop, provides excellent opportunities for memorable African Safaris, after breakfast, you will enjoy a unique experience with animals in the park. After lunch, head out for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel possibly bypassing huge concentrations of hippos and many animals by the river banks including crocodiles and birds. This experience offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.

After a relaxed breakfast, head out to Lake Katwe in the Mweya peninsula. Lake Katwe is one of the leading producers of salt in Uganda, experience the salt mining process that has been taking place here since the 16th century with mining skills passed on from generation to generation. Vist a fishing community at Katunguru in the afternoon before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning transfer through Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth national park known for the famous tree-climbing lions and scenic beauty, to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, and home to more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas

You will be transferred to the briefing point early morning, for a briefing for a once in a life time experience, Gorilla Tracking. This impenetrable rainforest has spectacular views, as you walk through imagine the life the Batwa Pygmies lived alongside the gorillas in this jungle.
Once you find the gorillas, allow yourself to fully embrace the one hour you will have viewing these gental giants socialize. Enjoy the views of the flora that survived the last ice age as you walk back reminiscing on this unforgettable moment.

The Batwa, also known as pygmies are the most fascinating of Ethnic groups that people can interact with in Uganda, head out for an encounter after a relaxed breakfast. The Batwa will guide you through their lifestyles today showing you their homes and farming as well as displaying their wealth of knowledge such as the many uses of plants and their talents in basket weaving, collecting honey and many other things that are unique to these fascinating people, they will also showcase their hunting skills, fire making that helped their ancestors survive when they lived in the forests, giving you a glimpse into the Stone Age era. In the afternoon, you can decide to go for a nature walk toward the waterfalls, where you will have plenty of time and opportunities to see many birds, and other primates in this UNESCO world heritage site. Explore the mysteries of Bwindi, on this guided walk from plant species to birds and beautiful butterflies

After breakfast, visit the surrounding local communities, including craftsmen and women before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful and safest lakes in the world. Bunyonyi is also believed to be one of the deepest on the continent.
Take a stroll to admire the lake and its several islands before dinner and overnight

After a relaxed breakfast, explore the communities around the lake on foot, making several stopovers for immersive communal encounters and experiences. After lunch, take a boat to explore a few of the 29 islands on the lake starting with the famous Punishment Island. During the cruise, you will also be able to spot different bird species. If time allows, you can try paddling a dugout canoe or go swimming in the Bilharzia, crock and hippo free waters of this amazing lake.

Transfer to Kabale after breakfast. You can choose to proceed to Kisizi waterfalls and hospital. These have a very intriguing past, as the waterfall that once was seen as a place of death now save lives as the electricity running the Kisizi hospital is generated at the fall, which was once a place where unmarried pregnant girls were dropped down the fall to their deaths as punishment for sexual misconduct before marriage. Or explore more of Kabale town visiting hills such as Makanga or a local market before dinner and overnight.

Today you will visit a remote village outside of Kabale town and home to the kigezi Community School, embark on a community experience for a deeper insight into the Bakiga culture through activities including local dances, garden and home chores such as millet and sorghum grinding. Also learn about the income generating activities including crafts making. End the day with a celebration, during which you will taste the local brew and cuisine, as the Bakiga people are known to be some of the most welcoming and hospitable people in Uganda.

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Reaching in time to enjoy the boat ride for an opportunity to see crocs and hippos. Or enjoy and evening game drives to find herds of zebras, Cape buffalos and elands before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, head out for a walking safari, which provides excellent opportunities for the keen photographer and more bonding animal sights before transferring back to Entebbe, with a stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers with skills passed down through generations. You will also have time to stop over at the equator for photographs arriving in Entebbe for dinner.

You can decide to visit the Mabamba swamp for an encounter with a shoe bill stock after breakfast and depending on your flight time or simply relax and do some souvenir shopping in Entebbe before being dropped off at the airport in time for your scheduled flight back home to consequently end of the tour.
