Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our safari guide and transferred to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight at: Urban city blue Kigali (Bed & Breakfast)
Early morning, after your breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel, to start your Safari, taking the road southwards towards Nyungwe Forest National Park, with a stop at former King’s Palace in Nyanza and Ethnographic Museum in Butare, reaching in time for a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, you will head to the Visitor Centre for briefing, before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure, enjoy one hour with them upon finding them and a nature-filled afternoon during the canopy walk.

Transfer to Akagera National Park after an early breakfast, arriving in time for a behind-the-scenes experience of the park, with highlights including conservation and park management.

After an early breakfast, head out for a boat excursion on Lake Ihema, visiting some islands, and viewing some of the continent’s biggest concentration of water birds. You might even sight the shoebill stork. In the afternoon have a game drive to enjoy beautiful sceneries in search for Wildlife. Akagera is the only park in Rwanda where you can view all the Big Five animals.

Start the day with a morning safari drive for the last opportunity to spot animals that you could have missed previously. This is a short drive for about 2hrs before exiting the park. Transfer to cross the border into Uganda to Kisoro.
Overnight at: Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge (Bed & Breakfast)
Wake up very early and transfer to briefing point before heading into the forest in search of the incredible mountain gorillas, finally making contact and spending one hour is a once in a life time experience, as you watch them play and go about their daily life.
The afternoon if time allows, visit the Batwa pygmies, for one of the best cultural experiences in the country.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, reaching in time for a relaxed afternoon, you can opt to have a boat ride to tour some of the lakes 29 islands, try paddling a dugout canoe or go swimming in its bilharzia, croc and hippo free waters.

After breakfast, you have a long drive a head of you, therefore enjoy the scenic views. You will reach Queen in time for dinner and overnight.

Embark on an early morning game drive after breakfast, for an opportunity to spots various wildlife including lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, elephants, Cape buffaloes, Hippos, Uganda Kobs, Defassa waterbucks and Topis that roam the park. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you will meet Hippos, Nile crocodiles and several other animals and birds.

Kibale is known as the Primates Capital of the World, therefore enjoy your drive to the park with views of the Rwenzori Mountains and lush hills of Fort Portal, where you can have a stop to look at the king’s palace or grab a coffee.

After an early breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for briefing before embarking on a tracking expedition to find these intelligent apes. In the afternoon, you can choose to relax at your lodge or visit the Bigodi wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk.

Today we will transfer to home of the world’s renowned most powerful waterfalls-Murchison falls National Park. Our first stop in Hoima, reaching our destination in time for dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: Pakuba Safari Lodge. (Bed & Breakfast)
After a wonderful breakfast, we again have a chance to undertake fascinating activities in Uganda’s wilderness. Start your adventure with a game drive through the well-designated game tracks where different animals as birds will be seen. In the afternoon, jump on a boat for a cruise along the Nile River. Put your focus on the banks where highest concentrations of Hippos and Nile crocodiles will be found.

After having a hearty breakfast and packing up, we drive to Entebbe, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an opportunity to observe the country’s only wild population of southern white Rhinos and Lunch. Proceed to arrive in Entebbe late afternoon.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Depending on your flight time, have a relaxed breakfast and relax or go souvenir shopping. You can also visit the Mabamba swamp, the botanical gardens or Uganda wildlife education centre before being dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
