Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Your guide for the tour will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe city.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Half Board)
After a relaxed breakfast, head out to UWEC for a guided tour to the various exhibits, which showcase a diverse array of Uganda’s wildlife, including birds, mammals, and reptiles. You will in the company of knowledgeable guides explore the centre and learn about the conservation efforts and the significance of each species, to deepen your understanding of animal behaviours, conservation challenges and the role of the centre in preserving Uganda’s biodiversity.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Half Board)
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, before transferring to Jinja. You can have stopovers En-route at Ssezibwa for a cultural and historical insight, for example the local believe the falls were born by a human listen to the interesting cultural importance attached to this scenic falls, take pictures then proceed to Mabira Forest, where you can have a guided nature or forest walk before Proceeding to Jinja to take a boat to the source of the Nile.

Jinja once a colonial town has plenty of thrilling activities, from bungee jumping, zip lining, quad biking, horse biking, sport fishing, boat cruising, kayaking, Nile tubing and the famous white water rafting, choose a few to spend your day. You can also visit some fishing villages, a local market for a more community based

After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to fort portal via Kampala where you can visit the national museum, reaching Fort Portal in time for a relaxed evening dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Half Board)
After breakfast, you will drive to visit the Kasenda crater lakes, known for the highest concentration of crater lakes per square km, to marvel at lakes like Rukwanzi, Mwamba, Kifuruka, Nyairya and the famous Nyinambuga crater, that appears on the twenty thousand Uganda shillings note. You can also visit Nkuruba nature reserve before transferring back to Fort portal where you will have time to visit the Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru Caves in the afternoon for an amazing Cultural, geographical and historical encounter.
Overnight at: Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Half Board)
After breakfast you can visit the home of the youngest king in the world, the king of Toro, who’s Aunt starred in the movie ‘sheen’. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park was established in where you can opt for an evening game drive for an opportunity to spot wildlife including elephants, Bufalloes, Impalas, Uganda Kobs, lions and various bird species.
Overnight at: Mweya Lodge (Half Board)
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzori as a backdrop, provides excellent opportunities for memorable African Safaris, after breakfast, you will enjoy a unique experience with animals in the park. After lunch, head out for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel possibly bypassing huge concentrations of hippos and many animals by the river banks including crocodiles and birds. This experience offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.
Overnight at: Mweya Lodge (Half Board)
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful and safest lakes in the world. Bunyonyi is also believed to be one of the deepest on the continent. Take a stroll to admire the lake and its several islands before dinner and overnight
Overnight at: Birdnest Lodge (Half Board)
After a relaxed breakfast, visit the local Communities or go for cave exploration, and bird watching. Afterwards, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before taking a boat to explore some of the 29 islands in the lake starting with the famous Punishment Island! Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening.
Overnight at: Birdnest Lodge (Half Board)
Transfer to Kabale after breakfast, drive to Kabale town. You can choose to proceed to Kisizi waterfalls and hospital. These have a very intriguing past, as the waterfall that once was seen as a place of death now save lives as the electricity running the Kisizi hospital is generated at the fall, which was once a place where unmarried pregnant girls were dropped down the fall to their deaths as punishment for sexual misconduct before marriage. Or explore more of Kabale town visiting hills such as Makanga or a local market before dinner and overnight.
Overnight at Cephas’s Inn (Half Board)
Today you will visit a remote village outside of Kabale town and home to the kigezi Community School, embark on a community experience for a deeper insight into the Bakiga culture through activities including local dances, garden and home chores such as millet and sorghum grinding. Also learn about the income generating activities including crafts making. End the day with a celebration, during which you will taste the local brew and cuisine, as the Bakiga people are known to be some of the most welcoming and hospitable people in Uganda.
Overnight at Cephas’s Inn (Half Board)
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Reaching in time to enjoy the boat ride for an opportunity to see crocs and hippos. Or enjoy and evening game drives to find herds of zebras, Cape buffalos and elands before dinner and overnight.
Overnight at: Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Half Board)
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive along the Kazuma track. The Kazuma track offers amazing views of the park including the rolling hills and all the five lakes. The game drive will involve exploring the deeper parts of the park for encounters with Zebras, Eland, water bucks, bush bucks, warthogs, impalas, Klipspringer and many other mammals. Return to your lodge for lunch, refreshments and relaxation to prepare for an afternoon boat ride close to the shores of Lake Mburo, where you might spot, birds, crocodiles before retiring to your accommodation for a relaxed evening.
Overnight at: Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Half Board)
After breakfast, head out for a walking safari, which provides excellent opportunities for the keen photographer and more bonding animal sights before transferring back to Entebbe, with a stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers with skills passed down through generations. You will also have time to stop over at the equator for photographs arriving in Entebbe for dinner.
Overnight at: The Boma Hotel (Half Board)
After breakfast, aboard a boat to Ngamba island sanctuary home to rescued and orphaned chimpanzees. Observe the apes in their localities, you can also feed them. There is also an option for the Forest Walk which offers you an opportunity to join a group of infant chimpanzees on a one-hour walk through their forest habitat, a maximum of four visitors are allowed in the forest for each walk. Return to the mainland for dinner and overnight.

You can decide to visit the Mabamba swamp for an encounter with a shoe bill stock after breakfast and depending on your flight time or simply relax and do some souvenir shopping in Entebbe before being dropped off at the airport in time for your scheduled flight back home to consequently end of the tour.
